Cataclean is an extremely effective cleaner that will remove carbon, resin and gum build-up from the fuel and exhaust system. How Cataclean works in the Catalytic converter
Upon combustion Cataclean creates an acidic vapour containing carboxylic acids which travels with the exhaust fumes, simply this acidic vapour will remove the carbon build-up from the catalytic converter and exhaust. The result is the removal of damaging deposits from the surface of the core, which increases the catalyst’s ability to remove harmful exhaust emissions such as carbon monoxide & nitrogen oxides, ideal for the MOT/NCT/Smog check.
Cataclean does not alter fuel composition and is safe for all petrol, diesel and hybrid engines as well as 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
How should I use Cataclean?
Add one 500ml Cataclean treatment to approximately a quarter a tank of fuel (15 Litres), drive the vehicle for approximately 15-20 minutes and refuel when necessary.
