Dan impressed from the outset in 2021, claiming his first win and first pole position in the BTCC on the way to a stellar first season with Team Dynamics, dominating the Jack Sears Trophy and finishing on the podium no less than 4 times.<\/p>\n
Gordon also had a strong first season back after being out of the Championship since 2017, with a double header win at Donington and 7 other visits to the podium during the year.<\/p>\n
Matt Neal \u2013 Team Principal stated \u201cThese are two of the best drivers on the grid and we wanted to make sure we retained them for the 2022 season. Dan has proven himself as a title winning package and with Gordon being a three-time BTCC Champion already his creds speak for themselves. Daniel Rowbottom added \u201cI\u2019m over the moon to be back for a second season with Cataclean and Team Dynamics. I\u2019d said to the guys from the outset give me a strong car and I\u2019ll prove to you I can drive, and I think I certainly put all my sceptics right last season and showed everyone that I can truly race. This season has got to be maximum focus for me to win the outright drivers Championship, that is my goal and that is what I\u2019ll be aiming for!\u201d<\/p>\n
Gordon Shedden closed \u201cThis is mega for me, I set my sights on winning the Championship last year, but lady luck just wasn\u2019t on my side, we had a great car but just couldn\u2019t capitalise on it. I\u2019ll be all guns blazing this year to get that elusive and record equalling fourth title! The boys have been working their socks off during the off season to give us cars that will be super competitive, so we both need to go out there now and repay their hard work. I can\u2019t wait to get back out in the car again, it seems like a long time ago we were last racing.<\/p>\n
The team intend to start testing in the middle of March, with a comprehensive test programme planned to the season start at the end of April.<\/p>\n
